Expert Group Meeting 2014

Overview

The Sixth Expert Group Meeting on Sustainable Environmental Technology was held under two themes; (1) Sustainable Solid Waste Management and (2)Smart Cities over two days on 10-11 December 2014.

This year, we welcomed mayors and senior representatives from five cities in Asia (Manado City-Indonesia, Ulaanbaatar City- Mongolia, Mandalay City-Myanmar, Cagayan de Oro City-Philippines, and Tam Ky City- Vietnam) who presented issues and their initiatives on the two themes in their respective countries and cities.

From the Japanese side, experts introduced and shared their technologies, experience and know-how. Later the participants from both sides enjoyed fruitful discussions on practical and potential possibilities for collaboration.
