The Fifth Expert Group Meeting on Sustainable Environmental Technology was held under the theme of (1) Five Years Technology Exchange and Best Practices I – IV and (2)Sustainable Urban Transportation.
On the first theme, successful best practice pilot projects in Mongolia, Nepal and the Philippines were presented by respective private sector companies and organization. On the second theme, representatives from 14 countries and cities in Asia and the Pacific Region shared their current situations and issues related to urban transportation. From the Japanese side, innovative urban transportation initiatives and ideas were shared by various private sectors in bus, taxi and vero taxi.
